
5’3″ featherweight Enerolisa De León was born on January 31, 1982, in La Vega, Dominican Republic, and currently fights out of Madrid, Spain.
Enerolisa began boxing in September 2016, and in that same year she had her first amateur bout, on October 28th. In her amateur career, she accumulated eight fights, that also included competing in Muay Thai.
On June 2, 2018, at the Gimnasio del Rayo Vallecano, Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid, Spain, Enerolisa made her pro debut. The bout was scheduled for five rounds, and she won the bout in a fourth round KO over Vanesa Caballero.
In the same month, on June 29th, at the Recinto Ferial, Colmenar Viejo, Enerolisa fought to a five-round majority draw against Jessica Sanchez. The final judges scores were 49-47, 48-48, and 48-48.
Continuing to stay active as a pro boxer, on September 8, 2018, Enerolisa, 119, fought Dorota Norek, 116½. In this bout, Enerolisa experienced her first loss in this four-rounder bout by unanimous decision with judges scores of 36-40, 36-40, and 36-40.
In a rematch, on November 16, 2018, at the Casino Gran Madrid, Torrelodones, Spain, Enerolisa fought Vanesa Caballero, in which that bout ended in a eight round split draw. Judges scores were 76-77, 77-76, and 77-77.
In 2019, Enerolisa remained very active, fighting six times. In that year she won four out of the five fights she had.
Enerolisa’s last fight before the pandemic began taking its course, she fought Jill Serron, 118½, in Sint Truiden, winning that bout by a ten-round majority decision, with judges scores of 97-93, 95-95, and 98-92.
Enerolisa continues to train actively, waiting for the pandemic to allow it to resume competition in the sport.
