Dalyzmar Seda was born in 2015, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Her journey in amateur boxing began at just five years old in Baltimore, Maryland, when The Agoge Project was still operating out of a small basement gym. Though too young to compete at that time, her interest was undeniable. Her family nurtured her early passion—most notably her grandfather, who gifted her one of her first punching bags so she could begin training at home.
During those early years, Dalyzmar accompanied her older brothers to the gym, where Coach Chiles recognized her natural determination and eagerness to learn. He would pull her aside to teach her foundational skills, laying the groundwork for what would become a remarkable athletic career. At six years old, Coach Michael John, President and Founder of The Agoge Project, officially welcomed her into the program. From that moment, Dalyzmar trained with focus and purpose.
Since stepping into the ring, Dalyzmar has approached every challenge with discipline, heart, and resilience. She has distinguished herself as a rare dual-sport athlete competing in both boxing and wrestling—a demanding pursuit that showcases her mental toughness. Fighting in the Pee Wee 9-10 female division (85 lbs), she has quickly captured the attention of the amateur circuit.
Dalyzmar is a two-time MD/DC Silver Gloves Champion (2024 & 2025) and has earned multiple honors, including several “Fighter of the Night” awards and championship belts from in-house tournament events.
On July 26, 2025, she made history. Competing at the “Boxing Showcase, DMV Elite” at the National Harbor in Maryland, 9-year-old Dalyzmar claimed a historic WBAN Mini-Belt presented by the Women’s Boxing Archive Network (WBAN). It marked the first time in history that WBAN awarded championship mini-belts to amateur female boxers for their tournament performances.
Her momentum only grew from there. In October 2026, she traveled to Las Vegas to compete as a top contender in the prestigious Beautiful Brawlers Vegas Edition showcase against Destiny Medina.
As part of the International Women’s Boxing Hall of Fame induction weekend on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Dalyzmar was center stage once again. She was officially honored by WBAN founder Sue TL Fox with a custom WBAN plaque and a unique IWBHF medal, celebrating her accomplishments as one of the first to received a WBAN Mini-belt holder. She is one of our young amateurs who are one of the “future” of the sport!
Still at the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary career, Dalyzmar trains with the same joy, and humility she began with. Her story represents the power of opportunity, family support, and the belief that greatness can begin anywhere.
