Super featherweight Matshidiso “Scorpion Queen” Mokebisi born in Kroonstad, Free State, South Africa, and she presently fights out of Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa, and as of June of 2022, she holds a 15-9-1 (5KO) professional boxing record.

In the media where she was interviewed about her background she said that getting into boxing aved her from a life of crime of “gangsterism” and substance abuse. She went on to say that in her younger years she had anger issues, and that those led her to join a gang, and to get into smoking Marijuana, but that boxing redirected that into something positive in her life.
On July 8, 2022, she is set to fight for the WBF Super Bantamweight world title against undefeated boxer Katie Healy, 4-0-0. With that said Healy built her short pro boxing record against boxers as Claudia Ferenczi, wiht a 20-76-8 record. (These boxers are called Journey Women opponents, with unfortunately have a high ratio of losses) WBAN feels this should not take place in the sport, and Healy was making her pro debut against this “Journey woman boxer that had over a 100 fights with mostly losses.) On April 29, 2022, Mokebisi won an eight-round unanimous decision over Chiedza Homakoma. Mokebisi came into the fight at 128 1/2, and her opponent weighed in at 124 1/4.
On December 19, 2021, she took a loss from Nozipho Bell, when she lost in a ten-round unanimous decision where they were fighting for the vacant IBF Inter-Continental Super Featherweight title.
On June 26, 2021, at the Donaldson Community Centre, Soweto, Mokebisi stopped her opponent Bonita van Jaarsveld, 133 1/2, in the fifth round in a scheduled six round bout.
In 2020, she fought Kholosa Ndobayini twice defeating Ndobayini by a majority decision in a sixth round bout, and an eight-round unanimous decision where she fought at the weight of 139 lbs.
